Non EU Students Visa Categories to Study in Sweden



Sweden is one of 26 Schengen countries and the largest country in the northern European continent, Non-European people can travel to Sweden with a valid passport and a visa. Visa are broadly categorized into two; Schengen visa and national visa, depending upon the duration of stay in Sweden.

  • A piece of evidence that you have got an amount of SEK 8,370 per month as bank balance to support your accommodation and cost of living in Sweden. The bank account must be on your name and should not be a joint account. Money transfer from own bank assets only is acceptable by the Migration Agency. 
  • The student must enclose the document stating the amount of scholarship and the tenure for which it is granted if there is any
